The government of UAE adopts Blockchain Technology for authentication services offered by the Ministry of Justice. It’s part of an effort to execute the “UAE Government services strategy” recently approved by the Cabinet. It will provide advanced digital services that are accessible to customers from any place and around the clock.
According to WAM, “The Project reflects the UAE government’s approach to advancing relevant sectors and widening its scope of work, in line with international development to the digital sector, to save time, effort and cost, and ensure the transparency and scrutiny of government transactions”.
The ministry has modernised its system to provide quick, simple, and safe digital services. The system is modernised by utilizing blockchain technology in its authentication services and maintaining data privacy.
Achieving full digital transformation in notary services underscores the ministry’s keenness to improve the justice system by shaping the future of this sector over the next 50 years, said Saeed Ali Bahbouh al-Naqbi, Secretary of the Ministry of Justice. This will help to achieve the goal of the UAE Centennial to make the UAE the best country in the world in terms of government services.

UAE’S Ongoing digital transformation will reportedly include creating a digital ID dubbed the “UAE PASS”. This will enable users to interact with an aspect of the legal process from a remote location.
Al Naqbi pointed, UAE proved to the world that it has solid judicial infrastructure and the capacity to overcome crises. It Affirms the judicial sector proved its reliability. Many solutions have modernised remote litigation due to the unlimited support of the country’s leadership –WAM.
