Coinbase Global Inc. ties up with Apple and Alphabet Inc’s Google. It will allow users to add cards from their accounts to payment apps run by two tech giants. This makes it an easier way for users to spend their crypto.
If you have a Coinbase card, you can buy goods at retail stores using Apple Pay and Google Pay. The biggest US cryptocurrency exchange said in a blog post “The Coinbase card added to the wallet can be utilized to buy everyday goods with digital currencies”. Users can earn up to 4% back in crypto rewards on the shopping using Coinbase Card with Apple Pay or Google Pay.
The company said it would automatically convert all cryptocurrency to US dollars and transfer funds to the customer’s Coinbase Card. If you have a Coinbase card, you can add a card to your apple wallet through the apps.

“Using Coinbase card with Apple Pay and Google Pay makes it even easier to spend and grow your crypto,” the company said in an announcement.
Coinbase’s move comes after PayPal permitted US consumers to shop using cryptocurrency. Also Paypal last week announce to allow users to withdraw cryptocurrencies to their third-party wallets.
