Mexican Billionaire Ricardo Salinas Pliego endorsed the use of Bitcoin. He said his bank Banco Azteca is working on ways to accept Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency.
In a tweet responding to Michael Saylor, the founder of Microstrategy Inc, and a fellow bitcoin enthusiast, the Mexican billionaire said, “Sure, I recommend the use of bitcoin me and my bank is working to be the first bank in Mexico to accept #Bitcoin.”
However, Banco Azteca has not made any official statement on how or when it will start to accept Bitcoin.
Saylor was commenting on the video of Salinas, which shared on Twitter by noted investor and bitcoin Advocate Pompliano. Salinas said bitcoin should be in every investor’s portfolio and why he thinks all fiat currencies are fraud.

Salinas said last year that he holds 10% of his liquid portfolio invested in cryptocurrency. Salinas is the founder and chairman of Grupo Salinas; include stakes in retail stores, media, telecommunication has risen this year $15.8 billion.
