Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has recently mentioned in Jalisco Talent Land digital that bitcoin is the digital equivalent of gold, and the product would be a “mathematical miracle” in the upcoming future.
Reported by Maxican Newspaper, he said that gold is finite, and one has to look for it. On the other hand, bitcoin is not, and he would like to invest in them in the near future. He said that the future of blockchain technology is more promising than before due to young people’s involvement. Also, back in 2018 he mentioned to CNBC that he hopes that “Bitcoin will become the only global currency”.
Steve Wozniak has also launched “WOZX” (a cryptocurrency token developed by Efforce). It is more eco-friendly than other cryptocurrencies where they use a lot of energy. He also commented about Ricardo Salinas Pliego from Grupo Salinas. Ricardo always suggests constantly about entering and learning the world of cryptocurrencies.
He gave an example of Elon Musk, founder of Tesla who has decided to accept bitcoin payments for tesla.
In Mexico, the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP) still does not allow financial institutions to accept cryptocurrency transactions.
