Baltimore Orioles’ first baseman Trey Mancini is thinking of selling Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in an auction for charity.
Mancini will be launching the NFT collection on the Ureeqa platform. The Mancini NFTs were designed in partnership with BitBoy Crypto. On July 12, Mancini will appear at Denver’s Coors field to participate in Major League Baseball activities.
The NFT sales will go for auction via Trey Mancini Foundation. The foundation mainly focuses on colon cancer awareness. Mancini currently stands up for the awareness of cancer due to his own experience with this disease. 29-year-old Mancini missed the 2020 MLB season due to undergoing chemotherapy for stage 3 colon cancer. His comeback is an inspiration to many.
Mancini said in a statement, “This drop is extremely important to me, not only is it my first experience with NFTs, but the cause is near and dear to my heart.”
