Polygon, an easy-to-use platform for Ethereum scaling, has launched Polygon Studios, the focal point on helping advanced blockchain gaming and NFTS.
The fastest-growing DApp platform polygon said the new unit will “bridge the gap between Web 2 and Web 3 gaming.”
There are recently over 100,000 blockchain gamers on Polygon with several top Web 3 games. These include Aavegotchi, Zed Run, Megacryptopolis, and more. In addition to other major metaverse projects like Decentraland and Sandbox, they are all leveraging network’s high-speed ability. Polygon’s strong NFT infrastructure also has various top NFT marketplace including OpenSea, Upshot, Unify, and much more.
The newly formed Polygon Studios has three core objectives:
- Establish and cement Polygon’s as a de-facto platform for games in the decentralized gaming industry.
- Create a brand that attracts top builders, artists and investors to the Polygon NFT ecosystem.
- Position Polygon as the go-to platform for IP Owners and large Web 2.0 looking to venture into Web3.
Polygon further added that the Project’s initial launch will focus on two major initiatives:
- Polygon Gaming Studio aims to help developers creates and market decentralized games.
- The second initiative, Polygon NFT studio, aims to help brand and intellectual property owners launch customized NFTs models and marketplaces.
In recent months, the rapid growth of the NFT Space. Polygon aimed at doubling down on the Vibrant NFT and gaming ecosystem that is already building on Polygon.

“With the launch of Polygon Studios, games get 360-degree building support, big brands and much-loved franchises can launch on Polygon, and gamers can enjoy a whole new world of play to earn opportunities and decentralised games,” The company said.
Polygon has attained a great deal of popularity among developers looking to escape high transaction fees on Ethereum mainnet. In May, attracted an undisclosed investment from billionaire investor Mark Cuban.
