NBA Top Shot, pro-basketball NFT collectibles will sell its exclusive tokens at the NBA Summer League Game in Las Vegas. Top Shot would make “moments” available for exclusive purchase from a physical location. This would be the first time that “moments” would be sold at an NBA game.
The NFTs will commemorate the highlight of each game on August 8, 9 and 10. The demand of the NFT will determine the total number of moments minted. But it will mint at least 1000 copies of each edition. Fans can purchase 10 tokens daily per person.
Match attendees can pre-order the tokens from the Top Shop kiosk in Las Vegas’s Thomas and Mack. These yet-to-be-created tokens are worth $5 each. They will transfer the NFTs to the Top Shot accounts of buyers after the creation “as quickly as possible,” according to blog post.

The first batch of moments seems unlikely to become valuable collector’s items in the future. With the event hosting off-season games, the NFTs will primarily feature freshly drafted rookies and minor league players.
