Loomdart is launching a New NFT project “LoomLock” on Metadrop.com. This is The most unique NFT project in NFT history. In this NFT once you acquire LoomLock NFT you get Eligible to receive a Physical LoomLock which is supposed to help improve your self-control and willpower.
The entire project has a purpose, let’s understand.
What is a LoomLock ?
LoomLock is a physical Lockout device that is designed to free you from any of your addictions by keeping you physically inaccessible from your addiction. It’s a device in which you can put any physical object and lock it for a fixed time, so until the timer goes to zero in no way you can access that item physically.
As you can see in a referenced image it looks like a giant Lock in blueberry color.
Loomdart says that “Removing willpower from the equation is a very effective strategy, but few people have fully explored its potential. The most successful people don’t need to exert willpower, because they aren’t susceptible to the temptations that others need willpower to resist.”
Loomlock simulates this effect by removing your ability to give in to temptations: Without the ability to physically interact with your distraction of choice, you don’t need to exert willpower to avoid doing so.
He has given an obvious example by which we can all relate. Just imagine: You’re trying to sleep, but your phone is beside you. You’ve faced this temptation a hundred times before, and you know there’s no reason to check your phone now — if you do, you’ll be tired in the morning. But the urge to check your phone won’t go away and you end up wasting the entire night on Twitter, and the next morning sucks.
Now imagine with LoomLock you can physically lock your phone, you can’t open the LoomLock before the timer runs out, you know it, it’s pointless even thinking about it. Instead of relying on your willpower, you simply know that a physical locking device stands in your way. You can’t check your phone, so you aren’t tempted to check it — instead, you go to sleep.
The LoomLock locking device is made of a few simple parts: the locking mechanism, a “LoomLoop” that is inserted into the lock, and a container. The locking mechanism relies on a timing device: put an item inside and set the timer, and you won’t be able to access your item until the specified time when the LoomLoop will release.
To allow users access to an important item during emergencies, the initial LoomLock will ship with three types of LoomLoops: permanent, semi-permanent, and easily breakable. It doesn’t matter that you can’t access candy during an emergency, but you might well need your phone unexpectedly. Which loop you use is up to you.
How do you get a LoomLock?
Each LoomLock NFT holder will receive a special Token, which can be burnt/redeemed for a special edition physical LoomLock.
The initial LoomLock NFTs is a collection of 12345 unique cute Wassies. Wassies are a cute little character who has legs like a cute penguin and face like a duck. Wassies can have different faces, ducks are commonly seen though.
Allegedly Loomdart got inspired by the infamous Crypto Twitter personality Inversebrah and created Wassies. Inversebrah is a green color small Wassie, who looks cute but his smol green face is always upset. people often tag him on Twitter.
before the general NFT drop, Loomdart distributed some of the special edition Wassies to his friends and other known crypto Twitter personalities as honorary Loomlock NFTs. Loom claims that these wassies will last much longer than 14 days and will be worth much more than 2.5 sat each, unlike Inversbrah.
Loomdart is releasing 9000 LoomLock NFTs (Wassies) on Metadrop.com
Metadrop is a new ultimate platform for NFTs drop. Loomlock NFT project is the first-ever NFT drop of this platform.
The auction would last for 3 consecutive days for 24 hours. One can mint these Loomlock NFTs from metadrop.com.
Bidding Process for LoomLock NFT
In the auction, 3000 NFTs would be available each day. Out of this only the bidder that pays maximum would win the auction.
If someone wins the bid, NFTs will not be distributed until after the final sale. They will first be visible on Metadrop after minting, and then on other NFT platforms shortly after that.
The ETH that one has in the first auction will be locked into the auction contract until the auction period is over. Bids that are unsuccessful will be carried over to the following auction. If someone’s bid(s) on day 1 are unsuccessful.
They will roll over to the day 2 auction and update it, and if someone’s bid(s) on day 2 are unsuccessful, they will roll over to the third day. After the final auction, if the bid(s) are unsuccessful after day 3, one will be able to collect his/her ETH refund.
The Loomlock sale will have its own unique metadrop page, which will look like this.
The starting bid is 0.25 Ethereum, each address can bid up to 30 Wassies NFTs each.
This distribution of bids graph may assist one in determining where bids have been placed and the number of bids at each Unit Price point. The chart can help one to decide where to place the bid in order to enhance the chances of winning bids.
If someone wins the bid, NFTs will not be distributed until after the final sale. They will first be visible on Metadrop after minting, and then on other NFT platforms shortly after that.
This is the first-ever NFT project that uploaded a video on its launch.
