Social media giant Twitter shares the first look of its upcoming NFT profile picture verification. The Video was shared by Twitter’s Head of Consumer Product Marketing Justin Taylor.
Mada Aflak, a senior software engineer at Twitter, was the first to share the video on Twitter. She showed a speedy demo. As per her video, a Twitter user can follow these simple steps to verify.
- Users can click on their avatar and select an NFT from their crypto wallet.
- Now they can download all their NFTs from OpenSea.
- Once they choose an NFT as their avatar,it would then appear with an Ethereum check mark similar to the blue check mark given to verified Twitter users.
Aflak stated that the run-through was just an experiment using a mock-up so that anything can be changed. She asked users to submit feedback and some new suggestions. But it’s an exciting step forward for the feature.
It is advantageous for the users to show their latest digital art purchases. Actually, Twitter is looking to facilitate more direct connection and take a look at the latest video to display NFTs.
