In Brief:
- Context launched beta version for its NFT search platform
- Using Context, users will be able to keep up with Web3 activities
- It is a free-to-use platform, that makes searching for NFT data feel like scrolling through Instagram
Context, a web 3.0 app, launched a beta version for its NFT search platform to track NFTs data a lot easier, more like scrolling through Instagram. It is a free-to-use platform.
Web3 is a library that allows you to interact with Ethereum nodes remotely or locally. It provides us with an API. By using an API, developers can easily work with blockchains.
Web3 is basically an interface between Ethereum blockchain and smart contracts, acting as a wrapper for the JSON RPC protocol. It can connect to either a remote or local Ethereum node by using either an HTTP or IPC connection.
The Context service lets you track Web3 activity by answering questions like:
- What new works just dropped from pioneering NFT artists?
- What are members of FWB collecting right now?
- What NFTs are my friends minting today?
Alternatively, you could open Context, connect your wallet, and look at the results – instead of refreshing Twitter, Discord, and a bunch of browser tabs.
Context lets you:
- Follow any wallet so that you don’t miss NFTs you care about.
- Discover NFTs via activity feeds from top artists, collectors, and DAOs.
- Collect NFTs from feeds in one click.
- Curate NFTs to share your aesthetic and help creators reach more people.
It supports all Ethereum NFTs and will offer support for more chains and L2s in the future. Additionally, they integrate market-specific data (reserve prices, bids, etc) from:
- Foundation
- SuperRare
- Zora
- OpenSea
- Rarible
- CryptoPunks
- ArtBlocks
“Our long term vision is to create a community-powered contextual layer for Web3”, says context in the blog post.
