Multi-platinum GRAMMY & Golden Globe nominated artist Wiz Khalifa partnered with renowned 3D artist Antoni Tudisco to release the NFT collection.
According to the announcement, NFT marketplace Portion dropped an exclusive 10 Piece collection minted on the environmentally friendly Palm sidechain starting from 15th October.
The limited edition collection consists of 10 editions of 10 individual pieces(100 in total), priced at $2500 each. Each piece starts with Wiz selecting musical and stylistic elements from his recent work- no surprise, weed is the central theme. Tudisco then includes with his signature lush 3D surreal hyperpop style.
Wiz and Antoni are two of the most respected artists in their fields. Both are excited to curate their ingenious collaboration and pave the path forward for a new chapter of NFTs.
Wiz said “Creating my first NFT has been so exciting and collaborating with Antoni on it has been a great experience.”
Portion and Palm announced their partnership in August. The integration of Portion’s marketplace with Palm’s environmentally-friendly infrastructure has allowed hundreds of artists to mint NFT. “More artists entering the NFT space are making environmental sustainability a non-negotiable part of their participation,” said Palm Co-founder Dan Heyman.
With the recent boom in the NFT market, celebrities, artists, players and creators are also taking interest in NFTs. Last month, the famous Rapper Snoop Dogg revealed himself as a Ethereum NFT whale “Cozomo de Medici”. He owns CryptoPunks, Meebits and other famous NFTs.
