The gaming company Dead By Daylight posted a tweet that the game developers ‘Behaviour’ working with NFT licensing company, Boss protocol to “adapt in-game models for use as NFTs.”
In the last few months, the NFT market is in the boom as many famous celebrities, players, and art businesses are placing their featured NFT on the leading marketplace such as Opensea, Rarible, and so on.
The gaming developers also mentioned that the collectors of these NFTs will be able to get “a chance to grant access” to the upcoming Hellraiser chapter of Dead by Daylight.
After the announcement, many gamers and people came forward on Twitter and other social media platforms to criticize the gaming company as they don’t want to be part of the crypto world and called it a “Scam”.
This NFTs launch is pretending like the gaming company current owners Park Avenue wants to gain profit through selling as Hellraiser creator Clive Barker recently won back the control of the franchise, But he will take charge after the end of this year.
A few days ago, the gaming corporation Valve had also discontinued the blockchain-based game on its platform.
