Midwest Tungsten services(MTS), a supplier of high-quality refractory metal is auctioning off an NFT tied to the largest tungsten cube it’s ever made.
The NFT’s title says it all: “The Tungsten Cube – 14 inch, ~1,784 lb cube held in Willowbrook, Illinois, USA by Midwest Tungsten Service.”
The bidding of the cube is on OpenSea NFT platform which starts from Friday. The unlockable content is required for scheduling and “it cannot be unlocked and disclosed by the owner of this item.”
According to the description given in the platform, owners of the NFT cannot visit the cube in a year in which the cube has already been visited. It is also noted that the cube will not be available to view until 10 weeks after the first sale.
Recently, the company said it will accept bitcoin as payment via Opennode. Tungsten is seeing a surge in demand from crypto traders and other market participants. Various size Tungsten cubes are available on its website.
