After making a bunch of shots at a National Basketball Association game, a Dallas Mavericks fan won $100,000 in bitcoin.
The winner of the basketball shootout event, Isaiah Stone, completed all stages of the challenge, which included a free throw, a three-pointer, and a half-court field goal.
The shootout event was sponsored by crypto brokerage firm Voyager Digital.
The Voyager Digital-sponsored prize money was the team’s most significant on-court promotion, according to the Dallas Mavericks.
Just last week, Voyager Digital signed a deal with the Dallas Mavericks to become its first crypto brokerage partner for the next five years to boost cryptocurrency awareness among NBA fans via multiple fan engagement promos.
The deal will allow Voyager Digital to have naming rights to the Mave Gaming Hub in Dallas, which serves as a venue for the Mavs NBA 2k League team.
