Now Bollywood Celebrities are taking steps into the non-fungible tokens (NFTs) market after Many Hollywood stars announced the NFT collection. Now Bollywood actress Sunny Leone has revealed the NFT collection ‘MISFTIZ’, which was sold instantly after the launch. It is the first time when a female celebrity from Bollywood joined the NFTs market.
In an interview with the news agency, Sunny Leone said “This was a private sale and it sold out immediately. I am beyond excited about the hype behind my collection and the support from the community. In many ways, I am myself a misfit so there wasn’t anything that’s more appropriate than this collection.”
In the crypto universe, Non-fungible tokens are referred to as digital art in the form of pictures, GIFs, or any other digital form, which ownership records on Blockchain technology.
Last month, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan had revealed his three-set of NFT collections on beyondlife.club. After that, another Bollywood star, Salman Khan followed his step and revealed his NFT collection in iconic style with the tweet “Aa raha hoon main, NFTs leke… Stay tuned, Bhai log!”
But this was not the first time when any Indian celebrity announced NFTs collection as Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan had made a deal with Abu Dhabi-based technology company Ammbar to launch NFT sale for his upcoming movie “Kurup”.
Recently, many Indian celebrities are locking up deals with the NFT marketplace to mint their NFT collection for fans. In this list, Rapper Raftaar, singer Mika Singh, and YouTuber Amit Badana are also included.
