The first Food Metaverse project, OneRare, raised $2 million during private sale. The funding will help OneRare to become the ultimate Foodverse. It aims to celebrate global cuisines and bring the global Food and Beverage industry to blockchain.
The startup is backed by few remarkable blockchain angel investors, like Sebastien Borget from The Sandbox, Sandeep Nailwal from Polygon, Nischal Shetty from WazirX, Shashwat Gupta from Altcoinbuzz.
Tarun Jaswani from Unbound Finance, Prakash Somosundaram from Enjinstarter, Edmond Truong from Formation Fi, Tamar Menteshashvili from Solana, Abhinav Sarangi from LEGO Games, and Ravindra Kumar from Frontier also participated in the round.
Arkstream Capital, Momentum 6, StableNode, Exnetwork Capital, Enjinstarter, Everse Capital, Kangaroo Capital, Tag Ventures, Maven Capital, 1010 Capital, CSP DAO, Skyman Ventures, FF Ventures, ZBS Capital, and Lucid Blue Ventures were among the investors in the round.
These investors believe OneRare has the potential to become the largest Food Metaverse project in the blockchain industry in the long run.
OneRare is entering the blockchain metaverse and is poised to be a big milestone in this field, far far from the usual noise with a completely different dimension.
Additionally, to help build foodverse, OneRare has teamed with Polygon and Enjin as Chain Partners.
OneRare plans to use the funds to expand their staff, develop new products, and broaden the reach of their metaverse with the help of this private finance. The infusion of cash will also help to accelerate efforts to recruit chefs and restaurants to Web3.
Just recently, ConsenSys announced a $200 million funding round to make Web3 universally accessible, usable, and buildable.
Making progress, OneRare is planning a public launch of the OneRare Utility Token, which will be hosted by the TrustPad and Enjinstarter launchpads, as well as a pre-IDO on Genesis Shards.
