The world’s leading NFT marketplace, OpenSea, has received investment offers worth up to $10 billion.
According to the report, OpenSea did not start the fundraising discussions and has yet to provide any information about the offers .
The NFT platform raised funds in July, when it received $100 million in a Series A round led by a16z.
This raise gave OpenSea a valuation of $1.5 billion, and the platform surpassed $3 billion at the end of August, in particular.
According to blockchain data tracker DappRadar, OpenSea has handled over $11 billion in sales to date, including a $3 million Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT.
This has caught the eyes of the investors, and they are rushing with their investment offers lately to not miss the opportunity.
Just last week, decentralized search engine Presearch announced that it has been working with OpenSea. The collaboration is to integrate the engine’s API to introduce a native NFT search feature into Presearch.
