- OneOf is betting on border-crossing brand exposure in its deal with Pitbull.
Armando Christian Pérez, best known as the rapper Pitbull (aka Mr. 305 and Mr. Worldwide), has struck a “multiyear deal” with music-oriented NFT platform OneOf.Â
OneOf’s proactive quest to address the NFT needs of the music establishment is highlighted by this signing. OneOf, which is backed by famous music producer Quincy Jones, is already planning to sponsor digital collectibles for the Grammy Awards, which will take place early next year.
Pitbull will advocate for OneOf for the time being, though he may soon launch his own NFTs.
In its partnership with Pitbull, an international singer with a string of successes, OneOf is presumably counting on cross-border brand exposure. Latin America was a major consideration in bringing Perez on board, according to sources.
Throughout 2021, crypto ventures have profited from celebrity prominence, particularly through relationships with athletes, actors, and even astronauts. Before this there were many more famous celebrities like Snoop Dogg, Ellen DeGeneres, etc. who joined this bandwagon of NFTs.Â
