Seneca, the principal artist behind unique NFT projects of Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), has announced through a tweet about the debut of five NFTs at Art Basel Miami on Dec. 4th.
Seneca’s OpenSea page unveiled four of the NFTs, with a fifth to be revealed and auctioned off in 2022.
Artist’s most valuable NFT while publishing was listed for 3.1 ETH, or US$12,310 was a picture of a person holding a miniature figure of an ape.
The NFTs will be issued on Ethereum, but they will be held on the DFINITY Foundation’s Internet Computer, a blockchain.
Earlier, Snoop Dogg, the American rapper, songwriter, media personality, actor, and businessman released his NFT DECENTRAL EYES DOGG on SuperRare and showcased it in Miami Art Week.
It was recently mentioned in relation to the Art Basel Miami event, which featured other noteworthy NFT pieces. Scientists and engineers had written the NFT of Star Trek founder Gene Roddenberry’s signature into a live cell as an example of a “Eco-NFT,” in what was probably a global first. The signature was extracted from a paper he signed in 1965 with Lucille Ball and Desilu Productions, which gave birth to the first Star Trek series.
