In Brief:
- Merge NFT sale has finally ended.
- The sale has crossed over $90 million in just 48 hours.
- The major goal of this project was to attract new collectors.
Murat Pak’s ‘Merge’ NFT sales on Nifty Gateway has finally ended and has made a total sale of 266855 NFTs with estimated price of $91.8 million in just 48 hours.
The merge project’s goal was to attract new collectors. Pak wanted to demonstrate that NFTs are more than “just jpegs” to everyone.
As a result, he designed the Merge project, in which Nft changed according to mass. Pak wrote it on mass.black that “Mass is gravity, Mass is energy.” mass.black is a unique treasure hunt, and everything will soon be dark as written on the website.
As per the project leaderboard, the most expensive artwork is now owned by the largest community URN.ART and is the new alpha.
As per Nifty Gateway’s tweet, Pak’s Merge NFT sale has become the largest ever sale by a living creator.
Since now the main sale has finished completely, the secondary market sales will begin real soon and people may transfer and the existing alpha may change.
Additionally, Pak did mention on 4th Dec., when the mass would reach 250k, something was about to appear but still hadn’t taken place.
On final ends Nifty Gateway congratulated Pak via a tweet about the achievement of the largest ever sale of NFTs and even mentioned how honoured they were to work with them.
Before this huge success of ‘Merge’, even Pak’s ‘LostPoets’ and ‘hateNftsbypak’ gained a major attraction. Pak actually got more popularity after the huge success of ‘LostPoets’ in which everything was sold in less than 2 hours.
