On January 3, CryptoRank Platform along with Santiment reported that Cardano, with over 140,000 events, has become the ‘most developed Crypto project on GitHub in 2021’.
As per the tweet, following Cardano is Kusama and Polkadot with nearly the same number of events, standing on the second and third position respectively. According to a report, this is the first time that NFT-centric project Flow ranked in the top 10.
Cardano has left behind Ethereum blockchain with a large margin, thus, positioning Ethereum in fourth place in the list. They gave this ranking by tracking 1000s of public Github repositories.
Defining what generates an ‘event’, Santiment stated that it includes creating an Issue, creating a Pull Request, commenting an issue/Pull Request, Forking/starring/watching a repository, and many others.
Last week, CEO of Cardano, Charles Hoskinson shared some of the upcoming projects of the firm including an end-to-end ‘microfinance transaction’, open-source project structure, Cardano Improvement Proposals and so on. Cardano’s technological ‘walkaways’ were likely increased after the launch of Alonzo Hard Fork upgrade with which Cardano successfully advanced a most secure and trustworthy Global financial system in low monetary and environmental costs. Cardano also stands out among others due to its ‘innovative fintech funding mechanism’.
