The Space Keys are linked to the NFTs with QR codes on the backside of it. Buyers will be able to get access to NFTs by scanning code. The collection was made in cooperation with NFT PRO.
While talking about the NFTs, CEO of the Lamborghini Stephan Winkelmann said that these Space-theme-based NFTs express the company’s focus on innovation in the automobile sector.
Since last week, the company has been consciously posting space theme-based teasers on social media, which was definitely a sign for the step into the metaverse.
“As a leading company for carbon fiber composite materials within the automotive sector, we pushed boundaries two and a half years ago with the joint research project in space. Now entering the metaverse is again proof of Lamborghini always setting sail for new horizons,” Winkelmann further added.
Yet, Lamborghini has not revealed key details about NFTs such as the name of the artist, NFT marketplace, date of auction. In a blog post, the company said that the company will publicize all details soon.
After last year’s hike in the NFT trend, leading Automobile and carmaker companies are coming up with exclusive NFT collections. Recently, Mercedes-Benz announced a collaboration with five NFTs artists to create exclusive NFT for its G-class cars.
