Pak’s ‘Chapter One: Carbon’ auction has finally ended, collecting a total of 3,20,925 $ASH, which is his self-made token. ‘Chapter One: Carbon’ is a dynamic NFT collection consisting of a single edition and an edition of 999 NFTs.
The single edition ‘Three Thousand Eight Hundred Twenty Five Burned Cubes,’ NFT sold for 25,725 $ASH. The winning bidder, Ennui, now owns this single edition. The auction of this 1/1 NFT attracted 15 unique bidders who placed 3,825 bids in total. These 15 bidders, as explained earlier, got an edition each of the ‘Carbon edition of 999,’ -a collection of 999 NFTs.
Subtracting 15 NFTs from a collection of 999 NFT, half of the remaining 984, that is 492 NFTs, were put for sale, while the other half will soon be distributed in the community as per Pak’s tweet.
The 492 NFTs sales accumulated 2,95,200 $ASH, with each NFT costing 600 $ASH. As per his tweet, his NFT holders can burn their purchased ‘Carbon’ NFT for 670 $ASH (current burn rate).
Pak and Manifold, along with few others, joined a ‘Closing Auction Party’ hosted by novocrypto on Twitter Spaces shortly after the auction went live. Farokh, the founder of RugRadio, voiced Pak in a 2 hours long audio conversation. In the conversation, Pak addressed his NFT collectors and supporters, asking a few thought provoking questions about ownership as an NFT collector.
The auction went as planned, and “Chapter One: Carbon” is now closed. It would be fascinating to learn what Pak is up to; after all, the Ash drops have only just begun!
