In Brief:
- Snoop Dogg announced the first-ever Medici Minutes Subscriber’s only event.
- Each segment of the newsletter covered a variety of topics on the NFT market, emerging artists, and more.
Snoop Dogg from his NFT-dedicated Twitter account Cozomo de’ Medici has announced a ‘Subscriber’s only’ event in his latest ‘Medici Minutes’ edition. In the segment Minute 5, he mentioned that the Medici Collection Gallery tour will be in Hollywood Hills, on Feb. 5th, from 1 PM – 5 PM.
Medici Minutes subscribers will be the first to receive the invitation for this event. According to the newsletter, the free to attend invitation will only be limited to 100 guests. If you are one of the subscribers of the Medici Minutes, you can’t afford to miss the invitation from the Doggfather, so keep an eye on your inbox!
Well, that’s not all, ‘Medici Minutes’ Issue two was jam-packed with Snoop’s predictions and suggestions on all that’s going on in the wild NFT market.
From Minute 1 to Minute 5, every bit of information was too important to skip. Beginning with Minute 1, he explained how dollar value feels less intimidating to first-time buyers. He pointed out how 70 ETH when priced at $168k seems a better deal to buyers than the same 70 ETH priced at $315 ETH. Meaning, buyers don’t notice they are losing plenty of ETH as they are more focused on dollar value.
In Minute 2, he advised his subscribers to always keep their NFTs in a hardware wallet. As hot wallets are not safe, keeping your NFTs in a hot wallet is a dumb move. He even asked everyone that if they are not using a hardware wallet then they should get one right now.
From his personal experience, Snoop recommended using the original Trezor, as it’s inexpensive and easy to use.
Snoop has also described what he looks for in a 1/1 artist, in the segment Minute 3. He believes artists need an immense fan base to help them grow in the NFT space. Also, he wrote that a 1/1 artist or an artist who drops 11,000 pieces at once, has nothing to do with their capability to attract fans.
Instead, it depends on the uniqueness of the project and how they can “Evangelize a Crowd” with their artworks. He even referred to a few artists that he is looking forward to seeing flourish, including DeeKay Motion, Dmitri Cherniak, and XCOPY.
In the Minute 4 section, he suggested following Peruggia on Twitter and going through his old threads to get a deep-dive into the NFT world, as he is the one who got him to “pull the trigger on his first NFTs.”
He wrapped up with Minute 5, where he announced the “subscriber’s only’ event, which we all are waiting for! That’s just a sneak peek into his newsletter, there is a lot more to what we have discussed here.
With so much going around this “Medici Minutes” thing, it would be interesting to see what awaits ahead in the next edition. He recently revealed Medici Minutes subscribers are secretly joining the special early access group for his future projects. We don’t need to say much, you know what you have to do now!
