Samsung’s metaverse initiative “My House” got an impressive response after its launch on January 6. As per the official blog post, My House got over 4 million visitors In less than a month. Samsung defines this platform as “a space-decorating experience.”
Samsung developed this platform in collaboration with Zepeto and debuted it during the company’s annual tech expo.
The platform allows users to decorate their virtual space with electronics items, furniture, fabrics, and more. Also, users can interact with others and customize their houses by participating in the “YouMake” campaign.
Given the success of My House, Samsung plans to “expand marketing activities to meet the needs of the MZ generation by continuously developing a customer experience optimized for the metaverse,” said the VP of Samsung Electronics Global Marketing Center Lee Young-hee.
The platform is also accessible through Zepto’s mobile App from the Google Play store. Approximately 4 million people rushed towards this fascinating metaverse project after downloading applications from the Play Store, which is the largest among Zepeto’s partnered-based services.
Most of the customized products are making people aware of Samsung’s Bespoke products such as Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition and Bespoke refrigerators, the Galaxy Watch 4 via Bespoke Studio, the Frame’s customizable frames, and more.
Currently, many projects are in the rollout phase to entice their users by finding new use cases. Last month, Samsung announced a collaboration with Decentraland to step into metaverse with the Virtual Flagship NYC Store.
