The virtual reality platform Cyber is joining hands with Rarible Protocol, to create an incredible 3D NFT buying experience through building an NFT marketplace in the metaverse.
In Brief:
- Users can explore the NFT gallery in the metaverse and buy NFTs.
- Users also can sell their NFTs via listing their NFTs on Rarible.
- Users will be able to access collectibles of Cyber marketplace and all projects that use the Rarible protocol.
The collaboration will enable users to buy NFTs while roaming into the metaverse, without leaving the metaverse. Also, users will be able to sell their NFTs on Cyber 3D spaces in the metaverse through listing them on Rarible.
This revolutionary step will entice more people towards the metaverse and NFT space.
Cyber is a virtual reality platform that creates a digital experience for artists and creators, such as NFT displays.
Rarible played a significant role to reach the NFT trend at its peak. Rarible protocol facilitates different NFT centric projects with an easy go-to-market process. The projects can access open-source cross-chain NFT Rarible Protocol. Furthermore, Rarible is also working on Web3 developments and overall user experience.
“You had all these top-to-bottom companies that were selling [virtual] land that is quite expensive, and then you had a lot of 2D platforms, but not the option in the middle,” said Cyber’s founder Rayan Boutaleb.
“We launched and placed the first brick of a bottom-up metaverse company that we would build with the help of the [blockchain] community,” he said.
He disclosed that the Cyber VR app comes with a mobile version including older models that can be accessed through Oculus. The integration will allow users to access collectibles of Cyber marketplace as well as projects that use Rarible protocol.
NFT and Metaverse trends are booming, hence many collaborations are taking place to facilitate the marketplace with new technology. Last year, South Korean Software company Animoca Brands has locked a deal with Cube Entertainment to build a music metaverse along with NFTs for K-pop music artists and actors.
