Famous Supermodel and businesswoman Heidi Klum steps foot into the NFT space with the purchase of CryptoPunk NFT.
Klum acquired Cryptopunk NFT #3653 for 80 ETH, which is approximately $250,000.
Straight blonde hair and black lipstick distinguish the punk #3653 who bears a passing resemblance to the Supermodel.
Heidi Klum also owns the heidiklumofficial.eth ENS domain in addition to her lookalike punk NFT purchase.
She recently collaborated on the song Chai Tea with rapper Snoop Dogg, one of the most renowned celebs in the NFT space. Snoop aka Cozomo de’ Medici had taken a jab at Cryptopunks a few days back saying it will soon underperform against other punks. He also revealed his purchase of WVRPS by WarpSound NFT collection which could be the next BAYC according to him.
But Deepak Thaliyal, CEO of Chain arrived as the savior at the write time by purchasing Cryptopunk #5822 for a record 8,000 ETH or over $23M. Snoop even praised Thaliyal for the purchase by tweeting, “This chad has electrified the space in a way we have not seen in quite a while.” Maybe this could change his mind about CryptoPunk, who knows!
