The NFT-dedicated Twitter handle of Snoop Dogg and his latest ‘Medici Minutes’ edition announced that 20 randomly-picked Medici Gallery attendees and a few other Medici Minutes subscribers were gifted commemorative NFT created by DeeKay Motion Work.
We know that Snoop Dogg is heavily bullish on NFTs and he tries to surprise his fans – keeping them on their toes. While his first tour of Medici Gallery was such a grand success that it was extended into a second Gallery tour – organized in Hollywood Hill, he again surprised his fans and subscribers.
20 of the Gallery attendees who made it to LA and 5 of his newsletter, Medici Minutes subscribers who couldn’t make it to the Gallery tour were chosen at random and gifted with a commemorative NFT artwork by DeeKay Motion work. The subscribers were ‘hardcore’ fans who regularly opened and read his newsletter.
The tweet said: When in Hollywood, we say gm!
The motion work NFT artist, with the Twitter account @deekaymotion, has a discord community of which 5 members at random were also chosen along with the organizers and VIPs who made the Gallery tour possible.
If you are a fan of the hip-hop legend, then this may just interest you. After entering into ‘Snoopverse’, Snoop collaborated with Sandbox to launch 10,000 NFTs (usable not just pfp) ‘Snoop Avatar’.
You heard it right!
The Sandbox also celebrated the Doggfather by allowing his fans to join a private discord for those who held ‘Snoopverse early access pass’ or ‘Snoop Dogg Private Party Pass’.
It is so much to catch up on when it comes to Medici Minutes. Everything seems important.
In the Minute #3 segment of his Medici Minutes’ fifth issue, he discusses CryptoPunk rare Alien being sold for the record-breaking 8000 Ether or $23 Million, bought by the CEO of Blockchain firm Chain, claiming that, ‘The devs can do all they want, CryptoPunks will always matter.’
While in another segment of the issue, he reveals to many of us who were unaware, that he collects NFTs on Tezos. Tezos is a blockchain like Ethereum known for its flexible transaction system. He goes on to mention some of the artists whose work he especially likes to explore:
Rata Yonqui, Luis Ponce, What is real?, Lucréce, Darkfarms, Heart You
In the last issue of Medici Minutes, Snoop claimed to recognize the “next BAYC” which was the ‘WVRPS by WarpSound’ NFT collection, which he collected.
In the latest issue, he exclaims that historics will ultimately dominate and top the charts, signaling to CyberPunk being overthrown by the BAYC NFT collection. He claims this phase to be temporary and that the new collectors will find their way to 1/1s and historics.
Further, he mentions how floors are going to rally and be volatile and holders will have a hard time – ending it with a confrontational rhetorical question: “With which bags holding do I want to be caught?”
