CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk once again appeared in an engrossing announcement regarding his favorite Dogecoin or ‘Doge’. Now, Tesla e-vehicle owners will be able to pay in Dogecoin at Supercharger stations.
In just 10 min after the inauguration of Superchargers in Santa Monica, the entire space became congested with Tesla e-vehicles. The founder of Tesla Console has posted a tweet about this news.
After watching the response, Elon Musk disclosed his future plan about diner and drive-in theatre in the Hollywood area. The tweet indicates that Tesla may foray into the Entertainment sector with its Tesla components.
In the next tweet, he wrote that “And, of course, you can pay in Ðoge”. The tweet was quite simple but confusing at the same time. The letter “Д grabbed the attention of many people as it’s not common.
But through the tweet, Tesla hinted that e-vehicle owners might be able to pay in dogecoin at Superchargers. This tweet is a big statement for the Dogecoin community as it can pump dogecoin into the market again.
Currently, Dogecoin is the 11th largest cryptocurrency in the world with an $18,711,009,253 market cap. At the time of writing, Dogecoin is trading around $0.1407.
Elon Musk has always been vocal about Dogecoin. Before this Tesla CEO also hinted about Dogecoin payment for his future Starlink project ‘Doge-1’ of SpaceX. Last Month, it also started the Dogecoin payment method for its Merchandise.
