A Web 3 browser Opera revealed its integration with DeversiFi, a StarkWare-powered solution to enable users to access Ethereum Layer 2 solutions directly.
In Brief:
- The collaboration will help enable low-cost and faster DeFi functionality.
- It will also reduce burdensome gas fees and execute faster transactions.
The latest approach adds evidence to Opera’s vision to offer beneficial and less-time consuming transactions via a mobile browser wallet as well as boost cryptocurrency mainstream adoption.
The integration will enable the web browser to have low-cost and faster DeFi functionality. DeversiFi’s decentralized exchange doesn’t store user personal data.
Opera stated that the booming in the DeFi sector including crypto and NFT space has boosted prohibitive transactions on the Ethereum mainnet. The collaboration with DeversiFi and integrating a layer 2 solution will enable users to transact ETH through peer-to-peer (P2P) transactions.
The collaboration is also aiming to reduce gas fees and execute faster transactions.
“Through this integration, the Opera users are able to seamlessly interact with DeFi on a user-friendly interface and experience a completely new way to interact with financial services at low costs, which are particularly relevant for those users who today are being priced out of the market due to high transaction costs on Ethereum.”
Last month, Opera browser introduced the Beta version of its web 3 browser for Mac, Android, and Windows users.
