The community has spoken!! The AssangeDAO community votes in favor of closing the ability of minting $JUSTICE tokens in future.
AssangeDAO opened two voting processes for its community that lasted 72 hours, proposing if they should close the minting option ability forever and if they should continue to focus only on the Free Assange movement.
Almost 4.8B $JUSTICE token holders, that is 99.87% of the voters are in favor of closing the minting option forever.
For any proposal to get approval, the quorum required a minimum of 3.5B of $justice holders to vote, and a whopping 4.8B JUSTICE token holders interacted in total, making the voting process valid.
With the voting in favor of closing the minting process means, now we have an upper cap supply limit on $justice at 17.3B. For anyone wishing to obtain $justice, they will need to use decentralised exchanges.
The DAO also did open a voting process for the Core Mission asking the community if it should continue to focus on its founding premise of “Free Assange by All Means Necessary” or pursue other activities.
96.42% of the active community members voted in approval saying that the DAO should just focus on the ‘Free Assange’ movement.
