Famous digital artist, Beeple announced his first solo art gallery exhibition in New York-based Jack Hanley Gallery under the title “Uncertain Future”.
As per the tweet, Beeple says that images that are going to display will be conceptual as they will show technology’s effect on society in the future through his creative artworks.
Beeple has decided to display his artwork physically in this exhibition through prints of digital renderings, drawings, and paintings in spite of just sticking with its ‘digital realm’.
The Gallery display will be open from March 3 to March 19. The reception opening will be on 3rd March from 4 to 8 PM EST.
Beeple is among the top digital creators, also known as Mike Winkelmann. He came into the spotlight last year after the launch of his ‘Everyday’ NFT collection that had fetched $69.3 million.
Beeple stated in the Gallery’s post that “This show hopes to spur a dialogue about the outsized role of big tech companies in our lives and how that *might* play out in the future”.
The display will also compile the meaning of technology from every walk of human life. Also, it will convey the influence of tech giants and their founders over society.
Furthermore, Sci-fi based works from this collection will be “presented in a tongue-in-cheek way but also meant to shine a light on real trends that are occurring today.”
“As technological advances in disparate sectors of the economy combine this will have a multiplying effect and the seemingly bizarre, unintended consequences of technology will become an ever-increasing factor in modern life”, he said.
