A partnership full of colorful NFTs has been announced by Clay Friends NFT with their best tool in making these NFTs, Adobe Photoshop.
The official announcement was made by Clay Friends on March 1st on its Twitter handle. Today, it shared with us a glimpse of what we can expect from this partnership.
Even though the NFT collective is yet to reveal the details of the collaboration, we are nevertheless excited for the reveal. We are anticipating that it will highlight the process of creating the one-of-a-kind NFTs.
Any NFT’s value is speculative and based on what someone else will pay for it. Fortunately, the creators of Clay Friends NFT hope to change that by creating a one-of-a-kind virtual art piece in the form of a photograph.
Clay Friends is a set of 5,000 generative NFT profile pictures (PFPs) collections made entirely of real clay. The creator and artist of these NFTs Trent Shy is a world-renowned stop-motion animator from South Carolina.
With the base models for the NFTs being fully handmade sculptures, the NFTs are created by importing photographs of the Clay Friends models into Adobe Photoshop. The artist then uses Photoshop to pull and arrange the various handmade characteristics.
Its official website says: “Blending meticulously hand-crafted works of art with a one-of-a-kind community experience, Clay Friends represents the unity of web3 and world-class artistry.”
With Adobe Photoshop being a key component in the creation of these NFTs, this will be a beneficial collaboration for both Clay Friends and the NFT creator community as a whole.
Last year Adobe had introduced a system built into Photoshop to support NFT verification on marketplaces. Among other things, it can help prove that the person selling an NFT is the same person who made it.
