The Co-founder of Wealthsimple, Rudy Adler auctioned a ‘Ringers #376’ NFT from his collection to help Ukraine in the ongoing crisis with Russia, while XCopy Art auctioned 1/1 edition “Special Operation” NFT for the same purpose.
As per the tweet, Rudy Adler has auctioned rare blue and yellow Ringers NFT, which also represent the Ukrainian flag colors. The auction was organized for 24 hours that ended on March 4 at 5 PM EST.
The NFT was sold to the popular digital art collector ‘6529 Cryptopunk’ for 306.529 ETH. He also holds an art gallery in OpenSea. He also acquired the “Special Operation” NFT for 165.29 ETH from Xcopy Art, reportedly an art “that speaks for itself”.
The Ringer #376 contains 3*3 grids in a solid uniform scaling with a white background. With the blue body, it contains circles in white, Blue, and Yellow colors. The weave wrap style NFT has a balanced wrap orientation.
On the other hand, Xcopy Art’s NFT ‘Special Operation‘ is the 1/1 edition of the dynamic image of the skull against a human chain with bizarre armed vehicles. This NFT was auctioned on SuperRare.
After contributing to the philanthropic works for Ukraine, ‘Punk6529’ thanked Rudy Adler and XCopy Art and added, “I am glad that our team was able to play a role at this intersection of art and humanity”.
In latest tweet, Rudy Adler disclosed that he will create “a public spreadsheet (@jack-style)” to give transparency before making any transaction. While XCopy Art donated the total proceeds to the Grifter Fund and he hopes that “SuperRare will also donate their portion” for humanitarian assistance.
