The iconic World of Women is coming out with a new NFT collection titled ‘WoW Galaxy’ featuring new art by the WoW founder Yam Karkai herself.
By launching this second collection, they are aiming to welcome more people to the WoW family, with a lower entry price point through a public sale.
WoWG holders will have their own perks. They will own the underlying artwork as well as all of the Intellectual Property rights, just as they did with the World of Women NFT collection.
WoW Galaxy Backstory
Hina, a sorceress, began receiving weird messages in cryptic language a few months ago. She sought the help of Callisto, a linguist, in order to comprehend them.
One thing led to another, and Hina quickly realized she’d need additional assistance to decipher this alien script.
She founded the Assembly of Women, which consisted of seven talented women from seven different worlds: Aleea (adventurer), Evy (techie), Mato (warrior), Hina herself (sorceress), Palesa (biologist), Callisto (linguist), and Kimi (artist).
They were able to immediately identify the source of those signals as well as the coordinates linked with them.
But their path was strewn with cryptic messages, puzzles to solve, trials, and numerous hurdles that the WoW community assisted them with through the WoWG alternate reality game.
The Assembly of Women then decided to board a spaceship and find out what was on the other side.
They discovered the 8th planet, Nova Gaïa, which was Mother Earth herself. They met Naos, the woman who was sending the cryptic messages. Naos revealed that her race arrived from the future to build a united Galaxy of Women.
WoW Galaxy NFT
When the World of Women NFTs cross the portal for time travel, they undergo transformation.
They get turned into World of Women Galaxy NFTs from the Nova Gaïa planet. The WoWs undergoing the evolution to WoWG will keep their origin. “Eg: if you own a Cyber Green WoW, she will become a Cyber Green WoWG!”
Except for skin tone, which will match your WoW NFT, other traits are generated at random.
But few of the lucky WoWs will get transformed into Iridium. More details are yet to be revealed by the team, which will be unveiled gradually via their social media accounts.
The holders of WoWs which will get transformed into Iridium will be eligible for ArtDrops.
An ArtDrop is an artwork created specifically for the holders and airdropped to them for free.
10,000 of WoW Galaxy will be reserved for free for World of Women holders but they still have to pay the gas fee.
WoW holders get 1 allowlist spot maximum for WoW Galaxy NFT. But few of the community members who interacted with the WoW social media posts are winning presale spots.
Meaning even if you are a WoW holder you can get an additional spot if you’re actively interacting with WoW’s social media posts. But the selection is done at random.
Stay tuned for the launch of World of Women Galaxy that is set to take place in the following weeks on www.worldofwomen.art website.
