The Decentralized Exchange (DEX) aggregator 1inch network that enables users to transact tokens without an intermediary, announced that NFT support had been added to its Wallet.
The NFT integration in the 1inch Wallet is for iOS users only. The Wallet users will be able to view and access information on their NFTs stored at their addresses. This feature is designed to make NFT storage and management easier and send NFTs to other wallets.
“NFTs are a very promising area in the blockchain space, and we want to enable users to store and manage their NFTs in the most convenient and efficient way,” says Sergej Kunz, 1inch Network’s co-founder.
The 1inch Wallet offers token swap rates across various DEXes. And with this new integration, it can support the adoption of NFTs which is rapidly increasing anyway.
In order to add NFT support, 1inch Wallet integrated the OpenSea API –a direct link to the largest NFT marketplace. It will enable users to buy new NFTs and immediately store them in the 1inch user’s wallet. The feature is currently available on the Ethereum and Polygon blockchain networks, and it will be expanded to other chains “soon.”
Prior to this, 1inch had updated its DeFi toolkit dApp by introducing a peer-to-peer (P2P) feature for crypto token swapping. It allows users to swap tokens directly with other individual users without an exchange or intermediary.
