The world’s premier creator of animated synthetic toys, Superplastic has made it Twitter official by announcing a partnership with the Bored Ape Yacht Club a.k.a. BAYC.
Showing off its BAYC #6984, it announced the collaboration with one of the most successful NFT collections backed by Ethereum, Yuga Labs’ BAYC. Superplastic anticipates the launch of NFTs with BAYC this month according to its website. The specifics have yet to be revealed by Superplastic and BAYC.
The official roadmap of NFT drops reveals: Superplastic is producing the first official Bored Ape Yacht Club vinyl figurines. This will include multiple colorways & special editions for our communities.
It is safe to say that NFT Twitter has reacted positively to the news, with many users expressing their excitement for this collaboration.
Superplastic collaborates with the world’s most recognizable artists, brands, and celebrity friends to bring our community ridiculously great NFTs, products, and virtual and in-person experiences. Last month it partnered up with Paris Hilton to mint the ‘Past Lives, New Beginnings’ NFT collection on Ethereum.
As for BAYC, the floor price of the BAYC NFTs crossed 100 ETH to stabilize at 105 ETH after announcing the launch of its own crypto called ApeCoin ($APE).
