The metaverse gaming platform The Sandbox is teaming up with ALTAVA Group to collaborate and expand luxury fashion and lifestyle brands partnership in the metaverse.
ALTAVA group is a Singapore-based firm that aids brands and fashion-luxury products to open up in the metaverse. The company converts real-life brands into a digital experience to embrace its metaverse space; ALTAVA Worlds of You’ along with its social commerce platform ALTAVA Market. On the ALTAVA market, users can mint NFTs of “luxury fashion and lifestyle brands”.
As a part of the deal, ALTAVA Group will create a virtual Exhibition Hall in ALTAVA LAND present in The Sandbox to display their ALTAVA NFTs. The Land acquired on The Sandbox by ALTAVA Group will provide a virtual experience of numerous luxury brands and will offer “interoperable” digital assets which will be accessible on both platforms.
Sebastien Borget, co-founder of The Sandbox stated that “We believe that ALTAVA x The Sandbox Exclusive Season 1 NFT Collection and their upcoming ALTAVA LAND in The Sandbox will add a unique luxury fashion experience to our rapidly expanding community and ecosystem.”
The ALTAVA x The Sandbox Exclusive Season 1 NFT collection will be dropped on March 24, 2022, and users can mint NFTs from this collection at the ALTAVA website. Also, minter can sell these NFTs on the secondary market ‘OpenSea’.
The Sandbox is continuously becoming popular among fashion and sports brands to get access into emerging metaverse space. Recently, popular brand Gucci has revealed its land acquisition in The Sandbox to build Gen-Z focused metaverse platform.
The collaboration will enable NFTs holders to participate in exploring spaces for mini-games, luxury fashion towns, art exhibitions, and others for ALTAVA’s PFP characters within The Sandbox, along with future NFT drops.
