The first virtual band in the metaverse ‘The Kingship’ powered by Universal Music is going to get its first manager “Noët All” to advance its music project in the emerging space.
As per the Universal Music Group, the company acquired Bored Ape NFT #5537 for 125 ETH on 12th March, which value in fiat is around $365,000. The NFT contains a female ape in a blue dress with a sad face and a Ww2 pilot helmet on the head.
The band has already contained 3 Bored Ape NFT and 1 Mutant Ape member, whose commercial rights are acquired by famous NFT collector Jimmy McNeils. The latest acquisition will help the band to expand its project in the metaverse space.
The band of the Bored Apes and Mutant NFT will produce music and perform in the metaverse through events and concerts.
“For it to become part of culture, I think that would be an amazing thing,” said McNelis.
Day by Day, the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection is finding a new way to expand its area around the emerging NFT and metaverse trends. Also, the collection is also popular among many celebrities such as Jimmy Fallon, Snoop Dogg, Justin Bieber, NBA superstar Steph Curry and billionaire investor Mark Cuban.
Bored Ape NFT holders also acquire commercial rights associated with it and can monetize their NFT uses in different projects in the digital world.
McNeils said in an early statement, “This deal is a leading example of how powerful commercial rights are for collectible NFT projects and their collectors. I’m incredibly excited to explore this new area of NFT ownership”.
Many NFT and metaverse projects are using Bored Ape NFT to give exclusive identity as well as to make rich status for projects. The biggest NFT influencer and American Hip-hop star, Snoop Dogg recently revealed the first mixtape and EDM NFT collection on Opensea, which also contains some Bored Ape NFTs with playback.
