Top sports brand Adidas’ interest in the metaverse appears to be limitless, as it infiltrates a new emerging space with new moves on a daily basis. The latest announcement is no exception.
Adidas revealed the exclusive giveaway of 200 Alpha Passes to its Into The Metaverse (ITM) NFT holders. Using the Alpha Pass, users can participate in Alpha season 2 on the metaverse gaming platform The SandBox.
Adidas will announce the winners on 24th March through their ITM discord and e-mail, giving users a week to explore Alpha Season 2 to “fully unlock the $SAND base rewards.”
Adidas’s ITM NFT collection sale got an immersive response after its debut, by grabbing the second spot on OpenSea in weekly trading volume. In its first week on OpenSea, the “Into the Metaverse” NFT project generated 11,391 Ether (ETH) worth over $43 million.
The company attached a form for users to fill up necessary details such as wallet address linked with The Sandbox, Wallet Address where NFT is stored, amongst many others.
