The Sandbox has just announced a VoxEdit contest for all head5 NFT holders, with registrations starting March 28 at 00:00 am UTC.
head5 is an NFT collection launched by electronic music producer, deadmau5 and the award-winning animator and video artist, Nick Denbeor, also known as smearballs.
VoxEdit in partnership with deadmau5 and smearballs has announced a competition to create an asset inspired by mau5verse.
A total of 50,000 SAND, a utility token used in the Sandbox metaverse, will be distributed across the top 10 places.
The first place will win 20,000 SAND tokens and their asset will be given to the head5 community for free as an official deadmau5 x Sandbox asset with credit.
There are certain guidelines and rules for the competition, with the most important one being that the participant should be the owner of at least one head5 NFT.
The participants are warned to keep their entries family friendly, and that racist, NSFW, homophobic and other inappropriate references in the entry will get it disqualified.
The rules also disallow participants from submitting deadmau5 helmets, one of the most reputable assets as their entries. The participants can, however, use his logo/branding.
The participants will need to create a GIF of their assets and upload it on Twitter with the necessary mentions, to submit their entries.
The submissions for the competition close on April 9 and the results will be announced on May 7.
The Sandbox has been leading the Web3 Industry with many innovative collaborations. The platform recently announced its partnership with HSBC bank to bring finance into the metaverse.
