New York-based Everyrealm, has welcomed its latest round of investors which includes prominent names such as The Weeknd, Marc Anthony, and Will Smith through his VC Dreamers.
Everyrealm is a metaverse land investor/builder who raised a massive amount of $60 million last month in its series A funding round, led by Andreessen Horowitz. The round also saw investments from the likes of Dapper Labs, Coinbase Ventures, The Sandbox, Nas, Paris Hilton, Randi Zuckerberg, and more.
The series A funding amount was raised to $62.5 million with the onboarding of the latest investors. The new investors apart from the aforementioned names include German soccer player Mario Götze, rapper and producer, NAV, record producer, Belly and quite a few others.
“Having such an accomplished roster of people on our cap table is an honor and a testament to the allure of the metaverse opportunity, one where artists and entertainers can foster direct connections with their communities,” said Everyrealm CEO Janine Yorio.
Everyrealm invests heavily in metaverse real estate and features several interesting projects on its website. It is home to 25 metaverse projects, more than 3000 NFTs and about 100 metaverse real estate developments.
The celebrities on Everyrealm’s investor list are not novices to the field of crypto. The Weeknd was appointed to the Board of Directors of the NFT platform, Autograph in October of last year. Paris Hilton has dropped several NFT collections too. She also hosted a live DJ session in The Sandbox.
