Binance NFT, the NFT marketplace of Binance, the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency exchange announced the launch of the Toni Kroos “Iceman” collection on March 31 at 11 a.m. UTC.
For this collection, Binance NFT joined hands with NFKings, which is a prominent NFT and Metaverse firm.
Kroos’ career and achievements as a soccer player will be reflected in NFTs with outstanding goals and moments in his iconic game style. Toni Kroos is the famous German soccer player, who is currently playing as a midfielder for Real Madrid.
The collection will debut with 6500 digital mystery boxes containing a hidden art piece created by Ahmed Abokor. A total of 50 of the 6500 mystery boxes will be set aside for community airdrops. The issuance price will be 80 BUSD.
The collection will come with 4 different classes of rarity including SSR (Super Super Rare), SR (Super Rare), R (Rare), and N (Normal) in descending order. The buyers will be able to mint NFTs from any of these four categories.
To appreciate NFT holders, Toni Kroos will be rewarded in different ways including signed jerseys and memorabilia, also lucky winners will have an opportunity to make a video call with Kroos.
Apart from these benefits, NFTKings has revealed an airdrop in a tweet that included 10 Toni Kroos autographed special NFT along with 1 signed jersey.
A huge portion of the revenue from the sale will be donated to the Toni Kroos Foundation. The foundation helps sickly children and their families as well as the UN Refugee Agency.
Toni Kroos is one of the best midfielders from Germany, who played a pivotal role to win his team a semi final match against Brazil in 2014 FIFA World Cup.
“I am extremely thankful to Binance, NFKings and some amazing artists: Ahmed & Josha for bringing these NFTs to life,” said Kroos. “It’s an entirely new way of interacting with your fans, almost like player cards in the digital age. For me, it’s all about making my fans happy while supporting children suffering from debilitating sickness who are helped by the Foundation.”
Many Soccer legends already fall into NFT business after looking at its craze among their fans. Last year, Argentina’s soccer player Leo Messi launched his exclusive NFT collection ‘Messiverse’ that was created with his image by digital designer BossLogic.
