English football club, West Ham United has announced a partnership with Fetch.ai, a Cambridge based artificial intelligence lab.
Fetch.ai will be the official Artificial Intelligence partner of both the men’s and women’s team. The partnership aims to promote the benefits of artificial intelligence and the impact of technology on everyday life.
“We are delighted to announce our first official Artificial Intelligence Partner and welcome Fetch.ai to the Club at an exciting time for the business, and the industry ” said Nathan Thompson, Chief Commercial Officer of West Ham United.
“We’re looking forward to working with Fetch.ai on their smart parking concept, social media platform and upcoming projects that will provide smart solutions for fans.”
West Ham will promote the services and products of Fetch.ai on the LED perimeter advertising boards of the massive London Stadium.
Humayun Sheikh, CEO and Founder of Fetch.ai, said, “We are proud to be partnering with West Ham United. We’re very excited about bringing forth our AI solutions in new and creative ways to power the future of world class Premier League football, entertainment and technology for fans in the UK and around the world.”
Fetch.ai uses artificial intelligence to remove third parties in digital interactions such as booking a hotel, making travel arrangements, social media etc. This will give the consumers complete control and might be the reason behind this one-of-a-kind partnership.
Various Web3 companies have been partnering with football clubs to increase their visibility and reach. Earlier this month, Manchester City announced OKX as its official cryptocurrency partner in a multi-million dollar deal.
