The King of Melody, Bollywood’s favorite singer, Kumar Sanu announces his foray into the NFT space. Sanu is collaborating with the soon-to-be launched NFT Marketplace Flamingo to launch his first-ever NFT collection next month.
The Indian singer’s NFT collection would include exclusive videos and audios of his unreleased songs and clips from his first audition. It will also incorporate audio of Kumar Sanu’s struggles and wins as an artist narrated by Sanu himself.
According to a Business Today report, the series will have autographed digital memorabilia and collectibles, behind the scenes from some of Kumar Sanu’s most popular hit songs, a walkthrough of Sanu’s house, etc.
Kumar Sanu noted “As an artist, I have always been keen to find newer ways and new mediums to express my music and connect with my fans. I am thrilled to take this journey forward through NFTs and digital art.”
Flamingo Group Pty Ltd is an Australia-based company who is going to debut their NFT marketplace by launching Kumar Sanu’s NFT collection. The company is also planning to launch its very own crypto exchange soon.
Flamingo Group Founder Biman Das added, “We are thrilled to debut our NFT marketplace through our partnership with Kumar Sanu. Collecting digital art is slowly becoming a global phenomenon and we are excited about the prospect of providing a platform for artists to have a deeper and meaningful engagement with their fans.”
An NGO would receive 5% of the proceeds from the sale of Kumar Sanu’s NFT collection. The details of the NGO are not yet revealed.
Another legendary Indian singer S P Balasubrahmanyam’s unreleased song, which he recorded a few weeks before his death is also set to be auctioned off as an NFT on April 9th by the Diginoor platform.
