The quest for the unusual treasure “Matter” begins. Pak has launched the first mass.black event “Matter” in which all Merge holders can compete for Matter tokens. Matter tokens are all visually unique with rarities and their supply is over 1409 +. The exact number of tokens is yet to be announced.
The intriguing treasure hunt mass.black will last until 30th April 2022. To win “Matter,” participants’ merge tokens must meet the criteria mentioned below. Interestingly, one can win multiple Matter tokens which will be distributed based on the end snapshot.
The distribution is in two parts – mass sorted and merges sorted in descending order of Ids, mass or merges.
750/750 “Matter” tokens named ‘Hunters and Traps’ will be given to top Merge NFT holders with 4 and above merges. Similarly, if the participants possess 10 and above mass, they become eligible to claim 450/450 Matter tokens called ‘Scavenger’s Weak Hands’. The winners in both the cases would be sorted in descending order of #id.
Another set of 150/150 Matter ‘Cannibalism’ is allotted for Merge (m) tokens with most merges. For yellow (t2) m tokens and blue (t3) m tokens with most merges, 36/36 ‘Lazy Gold’ and 12/12 ‘Lone Survivors’ Matter tokens will be there to claim respectively. The winners for these 150, 36, and 12 sets of Matter tokens will be sorted in descending order of merges.
For the random winners, every m token has an equal chance limited to 3 token supply. These 3/3 Matter tokens are called ‘Three Lucky Giants’. There is also something in-store for the m token with most merges and most mass. 6/6 Matter tokens ‘Kings of the Hill’ are assigned for m tokens with most mass and 1/1 ‘Atlas Apprentice’ for most merges. Both of these will be sorted in descending order of mass and merges respectively.
Finally, 1/1 Matter token ‘Titan’ would be given to alpha m sorted in descending order of mass. That’s not all. There are two more distribution categories: Hidden Tier and Challenge Tier.
The “Challenge Tier” will be unlocked if m supply falls below 20k. The Hidden Tier’s unlocking procedure is yet to be disclosed.
Though the mechanism seems unconventional, Pak’s creations never fail to amaze the NFT collectors. Pak also shared some mechanism details to help you figure out how to fulfill the above-mentioned criteria.
The mass.black was a long-awaited project for mass holders of merge NFT. It would be interesting to see how this treasure hunt unfolds in future events.
