The ‘Baddest Man on the Planet,’ the undisputed boxing legend, Mike Tyson is dropping an NFT collection on the Binance NFT marketplace on April 5th.
Mike Tyson’s mystery box NFT collection comprises 15,000 boxes in total. 500 of them are reserved for the community. Only 12 hours after the official sales begin, Mystery Boxes can be listed on the Binance NFT secondary market.
Each mystery box is priced at 44 BUSD ($44), and a user can buy a maximum of 50 boxes. Those who purchase this Mystery Box will receive three free airdrops of special edition Mike Tyson NFTs throughout 2022.
The collection is divided into five rarities levels: Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. The owners of Platinum and Diamond NFTs get physical ownership of autographed Mike Tyson merchandise such as boxing gloves, shorts, t-shirts, etc.
On a special web portal, Platinum and Diamond NFT owners will be able to authenticate ownership of their NFTs. They will next need to complete KYC for the shipment of the physical items.
Bronze, Silver, and Gold NFT holders will receive special collector’s edition NFTs from renowned crypto artist Henric Aryee, which features Mike Tyson. There are three different designs from Henric Aryee, with one NFT design per rarity level.
All users who own at least one NFT from the collection will be the first to learn about upcoming Mike Tyson NFT and metaverse debuts, as well as enjoy unique access to additional incentives.
Mike Tyson and Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao even shared a funny exchange on Twitter. Tyson tweeted “Hey @cz_binance I’m coming for you next week, April 5th you better be there…”
To which Zhao responded saying that it will be an honor to see Mike and went on to quote retweet Mike’s tweet saying “When Mike says that, how do you respond?”
Just two weeks back, renowned Indian amateur boxer MC Mary Kom announced her foray into the NFT space via the nOFTEN platform. nOFTEN is going to launch a rare collection of NFTs based on the life of Mary Kom.
