Revived in 2018, Kemper snowboards is coming back with all guns blazing as it announces an NFT collection launch on the SIMBA Market. The collection will be added to the action sports category and will be dropped in June.
The NFT collection will pay homage to the 80’s and 90’s era of the iconic neon snowboards, of which Kemper’s snowboards were the pioneers.
The SIMBA Market is built on the SIMBA blockchain and will host Kemper’s digital room. SIMBA will also provide customer support, sales advice, hosting and more.
Kemper will be the first customer of the Gravity Sports Group’s ‘Riders Collectiv’ NFT collection. Riders Collectiv is a unique space that houses all types of action sports NFTs for fans and followers. Items added to the Riders Collectiv will be available in SIMBA Market’s Action Sports category.
“It’s time to marry the digital and physical universes among collectibles and products. The value of owning a digital NFT that is tied to a physical product, snowboards in our case, is the next evolution of NFTs” said Jib Hunt, CEO of Kemper Snowboards.
“It’s been my mission for Kemper Snowboards to be the first to do it in the action sports world and it has become a reality thanks to SIMBA Market and Riders Collectiv.”
SIMBA Market will offer fiat payment options, using a simple UX and extensive security features to attract both crypto and non-crypto users.
NFTs have become sources of substantial side revenues especially in the field of sports and entertainment. The football industry has been making millions off of this technology. Fan favorite Liverpool Football Club partnered with Sotheby’s to launch the LFC Heroes Club NFT collection which was on sale for only three days.
