The Youtube creator and ardent NFT collector Logan Paul is on a new adventure after going the distance against the undefeated Floyd Mayweather. This time, he’s releasing his long-awaited NFT collection “99 Originals.”
While Paul has been hinting at his project for a year, it was only now that he released a video that appears to be his trailer for the NFT project.
This is his first major NFT collection, which is a documentation of 99 polaroids taken over the course of 99 days and used to create a collection of digital artwork that reflects himself.
One Original will be auctioned off each day on the main page of Originals.com starting from April 18th. The auction will last for 24 hours. Originals owners can reclaim their physical 1/1 Polaroid that has been authenticated and slabbed by PSA.
Following the above mentioned fight, he describes the months that followed as reigniting his creativity, and Paul had what he describes as an “amazing multifaceted idea beamed into my head”.
According to Paul, 99 Originals will have a DAO and each Original entitles the owner to a seat in the DAO. The DAO Community Treasury is a shared bank account into which 50% of all NFT sales will be stashed. 49% of the funds will go to LP. Furthermore, holders of Logan Paul’s Pokemon NFTs will be entitled to 1% royalties.
When the YouTube star’s combatant Floyd Mayweather announced his own NFT collection called Mayweverse, he received heavy backlash on Twitter because of his previous NFT endeavors with comments such as–“Nice scam Mr. Floyd.”
