Crypto exchange Luno announced a multimillion-dollar deal with London entertainment venue KOKO, which has hosted star performers like Charlie Chaplin, Elton John and Madonna.
Luno, which is an independent operating subsidiary of Digital Currency Group, refused to reveal the size of its investment.
As a part of its partnership, KOKO will launch a new “multi-format space” called The Luno for live art. This space will also host crypto-oriented events, such as talks on decentralizing technology, cryptocurrencies and the way they are changing the relationship between music, artists and fans.
The multi-format space “The Luno” will also feature a digital gallery.
The agreement will ensure that Luno customers gain perks like backstage access, ticket giveaways, presale tickets and queue jumping at the venue, based in London’s Camden Town.
Sam Kopelman, U.K. country manager at Luno stated “Every day the relationship between crypto and music grows stronger, with blockchain innovations beginning to revolutionize the industry.”
Crypto continues to pervade all spheres of business, especially the Entertainment industry and thus, entice its new audiences. In March of this year, the world’s largest crypto exchange, Binance sponsored this year’s Grammy awards.
